1984 Magna

This vintage Magna looks just like a 1984 Randor Akisu with a different fork.

Magna "Model N/A" 1984? Serial # 843218 on the bb
One of the very early Magna BMX bikes. Magna also put out a freestyle bike named "RAM III"
Sugino 1 Piece, Vector pedals, Sumo rims, Cheng Chen tires, SR Stem, Wald V-Bar, Hunt Wild grips and plate.

Re: 1984 Magna

Lets see your info on Magna bikes. I'm all ears.
The Magna style stickers on this BMX 20" match up with a Magna road bike from the same time.

Re: 1984 Magna

Funny...I have one just like it. Different serial number 'tho. It does have the stamped BB (on top) LD84, then 121193 underneath. Any help with that one, RIP?

Re: 1984 Magna

Thanks, dmcleaner. I would love to see a picture if you can post one up. I don't know why I care about these old Magana's... guess I just thought it would be fun to get the history of one of the most shit-talked bikes on the planet. lol Seems to be a giant void for info on the Magna roots. I went back for the RAM III freestyle Magna, but it was gone.

Re: 1984 Magna

sorry to bring this thread back from the dead guys, but I've been casually searching for one of these for a few years now.  I want one in the worst way.

This was my first 20" bike, but I believe I got mine in about 1989 (give or take a year), and mine had a grey frame with white forks, bars and seat post.

So here's my America's Most Wanted~ish PSA:
"If you have any information about this, or think you may know the whereabouts of the bike in the picture above, please contact me at..."  ...just send me a message through this forum.

I really really really want one and am willing to pay a finders fee to someone who locates one in decent condition.

Re: 1984 Magna

I sold this one last year. I can see if the guy still has it and wants to sell it.

Re: 1984 Magna

I have a ram 3 frame and bars, want to sell it... but have no clue what to ask for it.

...so then I told the divorce lawyer,"if she wants half my bikes, then I want to keep one of her boobs."
