Cycle Craft with Zeronine drop outs????

Just picked this up from the seller. Said he bought it new in 89 with the Gusset and the Rear Drop Outs this way. Said it was a custom made frame from CC.. Anyone think it is different?

Parts are killer on it. 181 Cooks Cranks(not CQP) Mathauser Hydro Brakes! Campanalo Hubs, near perfect Zeronine Padset.

If you zoom in on the frame picture, they look exactly the same.. I will take more pictures tomorrow as we are on our way to an amusement park.

Stupid cousin chopped my CC Cruiser and made it 1 1/8 and welded on some ornimental rear supports... But I still love my old cruiser

AAHHH...okay, I knew they were similar.
The gusset is unigue. I about bought a CC cruiser one-off from a pervious CC employee, he had actually made the frame himself while employeed....he said they use to experiment with these frames all the time, or someone would special order one a certain way, etc...
Looks like you might have on eof those...great bike.
Are those cooks cranks on the cooks spider??

CC only made Zeronine for a very short time before production went overseas.

Has anyone ever seen those brakes before? More than likely they are Mountain Bike related, but still way ahead of their time.

I dont know... I am tooooo fat to ride this thing. Will ask my 11 year old.... Thing is the cranks and 181mm.. Weird for this junior sized frame to have 181mm cranks

Re: Cycle Craft with Zeronine drop outs????

CC made the first 500 Zeronine frames, and when they couldn't meet the production quota 09 wanted, 09 went to Taiwan.  CC did make 100 Rich Bartlett Block frames in 89 with those dropouts (double-thick no less) and as enviroguy said, they were very experimental and easy to work with if you wanted something special.  I've never seen a CC like that either, but with that knowledge it would be hard to say it ISN'T a CC.
