2007 Eastern Sequence

If Chuck Norris is late, he was just watching my ride!

2007 Eastern Sequence, upgrades: rear wheel - Sun 4 Play rim, with KHE die Hure (the whore) hub, Odyssey Cielencki pedals and a 1664 seatpost. Sunday Tall T bar, Wethepeople Mugen Grips and a Snafu brakelever! The stem is a Stolen Clutch stem. Saltplus halflink chain and a Wethepeople slim seat make it complete. Hope you like it.

Re: 2007 Eastern Sequence

Yes, it is riding awsome. It has a great geometry for every kind of riding. Fantastic allround bike. BUT it comes with the typical weaknesses like all complete bikes at this price(400 Euros). So, when my account looks more friendly, i will have to change pedals, tektro brakes, incl. levers (they cannot be removed without removing grips) and the seatpost (just ugly). I have built on the pegs now, and it is unbelievable how heavy it gets with these. So later iīll change to lighter pegs. I am absolutly in love with that gloss black frame - a beauty! Thatīs it!

Re: 2007 Eastern Sequence

It still feels nice to ride it, but i have to tell you, some stuff seems to be a bit cheap. I have wrecked the cassette hub. I think it happened during several tailwhips (flatland), when the rear wheel hits the floor from the side. This didnīt happen with my old peregrine masters, not with my gt loose balls hub, not with my KHE freecoaster and it didnīt happen to my old sovos loose ball. But here the hub is done! I am going to buy a higher quality now. If possible, spend more money from the beginning!

Re: 2007 Eastern Sequence

Thanks for your nice words. The Geisha is the freecoaster version, this one is the "hure" cassette. Which means the same somehow. I guess geisha is japanese for the german word hure, lol!

Re: 2007 Eastern Sequence

Spring is coming over here! Got greasy fingers today by fixing my bike with a new cockpit. Just took it for a ride, doin some bunnyhops, love the Pandoras! Perfect shape. I always hated the stupid upsweep of the original bars! Gotta admit that my backs hurts pretty much and my knees sound like fireworks. While pedaling I asked myself: Is that noise the chain or is it my rotten body! Well, guess IÂīm 35!
