1983 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

1983 PK RIPPER LOOPTAIL

This is my original childhood bike, my best build as a kid. Had it all these years and found it in my old garage. This got HCBMX started and fast forward almost a year, the addiction is still on. Cleaned it up, added some nos parts, almost complete. Favorite part, 52 tooth sprocket on Redline Flights.

Crikey! That front sprocket would take you half a day to get going!! Great build! Cheers!

Re: 1983 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

The original Araya rims had the flip flop hub, still gottem', but not in rider form anymore, they suffered the most over the years.
16 T and a 12 T.  Combine the 52 with the 12, not the fastest out of the gate, but once in motion, CYA!

Gonna try some pics here:

This is all original right out of the time machine circa 1983:

First stab at the restore, before getting into this site, had NO IDEA what was in store:

With much persistence from Falcos to clean this puppy up, what's posted is the "Final" result, but as we all know, it ain't never done!

Thanks for the comments!!

John
