Re: 2006 Shadow Conspiracy Invisible Man

Yeah man, I'm waiting on parts from Shadow now.  I'm upgrading to the Torrid cranks shadow pedals and I'll be soon adding some skyways to set it off.  I was going to get an LPK undertaker stem, but they are out of black.

Re: 2006 Shadow Conspiracy Invisible Man

How are the torrid cranks holding up since you got them? I have heard alot of bad stories about them cracking alot. I have also heard good things too. i also heard shadow is in the process of redesiging them altogether, which exlains why they don't have any cranks posted in thier parts section on thier website. i know they're still selling the old ones but still am a little weary to buy a set, thinkinf about the demo medeals or macniel conjoined, but really think the torrid look the best on the shadow frame. So any feedback would be helpfull. Thanks

Re: 2006 Shadow Conspiracy Invisible Man

i was also thinking about changing my back hub to a shadow rant on my invisibleman. can you tell me if the flange size on the rant is the same as the stock hub on the invisibleman? Could you use the same spokes that came with the invisibleman when you relaced your wheel?

the answer is YES the rant may not be exactly the same but it is so close that the spokes should work just fine.  i did it on my shadow cruiser, and it will work on yours too, i think that you should consider not going to small though b/c 25t looks to small on a cruiser (in my opinion) smile

Re: 2006 Shadow Conspiracy Invisible Man

another down side to a 25t is that the shadow frame comes with a factory indentation in the right side chainstay....if you run 25, or 28t you can see the indentation very well, wich i think looks dorky, if you go with a 30t it will cover the indent and still have the apperience of a small drive train b/c it is on a 24" cruiser!   just look at the picture above.

Re: 2006 Shadow Conspiracy Invisible Man

thanks etd for the info on the rant. yeah i'm going to run a 30t and 11t together after I relace it with the rant v2,  its the same ratio as a 25t and 9t on a 20"

as i said on the other posting......30-11 and 25-9 are the same (or very similar) but when you factor in the fact that you have a 24" wheel the ratio becomes much to steep to be comfortable to ride, make sure to check out the link that i posted on the other thread, and you will see what i mean.
