In the middle of slowly building this one up.
Always loved the delicate looks of a JMC back in the 80's & being a fan of early 80's looptails I couldnt resist getting one when the opportunity arose.
Just started getting the bits together for this build.
1983 JMC 3.1XL looptail (3.1 pounds Xtra Light Frame & Forks)
Euro sealed B/B
(NEW) AME Tri Grips.
(NOS) KKT Pedals
(NOS) Dia Compe Tech 4 levers
(NOS) Bullseye Hubs
(NEW) IZUMI 3/32 racing chain.
(NOS) Troxel 650 USA made lightweight racing seat & post
(NEW)Tioga Headset
Bullseye Hubs.
Swiss S/Steel Spokes.
Ukai Speedline Rims

Russ, it seems we like the JAGs and old school JMCs...here is a shot of mine just how it was almost 20 years ago...except it had grips of course..

Considering putting this one out there to sell...with the Campy/Araya wheels or a set of Son-Lite Racing/Araya ones....not sure if there is any interest?
I might be wrong on the year, could be 81 or 82?
