Beautiful! The one color that I don't have... cause Raul isn't hurting for cash enough yet.... I'm workin on that though!!

Dig out your bashguard bikes and let me know! I'm looking for a '91 Mongoose Hooligan, Dyno Slammer 2, '95 Haro Basher, . I'll consider the others too for the right price!

Re: 1989 Bully Bashguard

Bullys came out in 1990 so it can't be 1988.
Do people do any research on their stuff before submitting??

Nice colour though, in fact, the best.

Building old "trick bikes", but NOT doing "tricks" on them is just as bad as building old muscle cars but not driving or racing them.  They have a name for those kind of people...

So these bikes weren't built too well then?  I was considering getting one with no bashguard.  What year did those come out in?  smile

i believe the non bashguard 1's (bully 2) came out in 1990-91 when perry mervar signed w/them.  he was straight flatland so a bashguard would have been non functional for him.

Re: 1989 Bully Bashguard

I had a Bully stem that belonged to John byers bitd untill a few years ago. We use to drive to Raliegh and ride the big blue halfpipe thats in the Bully Slow Ride Vid quite often.

Looking for any early Hoffman stuff. Frames, bars, stems, etc...

Hahahahaha!  that was the funniest thing I've read in a while!  lol

bashguards came out in 1989 from haro, gt db and dyno (as well as a few others i'm sure)  between 89-93 there was the hooligan, WAL, bully and i think even standard had a bolt on version(like a hooligan) listed in an early catalog, but i dont think it ever went farther than the prototype.
