I just recently bought this bad boy from a cool dude out of Ft Collins. It rides like a dream and it turns alot of heads. Thanks for checking it out.

Cool, I didn't know those had ACS brakes, were those stock?

Re: 1989 GT Performer

Snagged it up quickly then drank some PBR with the dude . It was a great day. Free beer and a good deal on a gt...,what more could a guy ask for big_smile

Re: 1989 GT Performer

hi, I am just starting to restore my dark blue 1989 performer. I was wondering if you have close up pictures of all the decals; seat post, handlebars and frame, along with close ups on the brake system.  That bike is one of the cleanest ones Ive ever seen.  I will put my chrome fully original 87 perfomer in the museum once I replace a couple of cables and get some tires.

Re: 1989 GT Performer

Its me again. I've been doing some research and I have found a couple of people that can reproduce the decals if they have digital pictues with approximate dimensions, or a computer scan of the originals.  If you would like to get decal sets for your restorations of you 89's this may be the way to go
