hey the serial # is 484**** im not sure what u mean about the slash on the top tube i dont see a gt stamp anywhere but maybe i dont know where to look?

you have an early made performer..the slash is above the brake bridge(the end of the standing platform,middle).

yeah im a little slow sometimes the slash is stamped gt and says 4130 below it.

cool pretty cool. i think youd have to double what the bike cost you, if you swop out the odd parts.  but all the same, a goood find!

that's an April of 84 build date, first month gt had the top tube with the GT 4130 stamp on their bikes.....sweet find, I also have a April 84 pro performer in chrome....parts are out there for them but be prepared to spend big bucks to get them.....

yeah I got lucky n found a set of these white pro bars NOS!!! 30 bucks!!! I was lookin for chrome but these popped up so i couldn't resist!!! I have a set of radberry masters that i've been tinkerin with and i was swappin out the tires for some fresh ones and put the mags on the performer n it just looks so good!, so I don't know what i'm goin for, I love the all white look though!!!

there is a set of aluminum flange white tuffs on ebay that would be "correct" for an 84... your bike is just a set of white mags and forks away from really standing out......
