1976 Murray Super Cat

knobby tires, number plate and banana seat...man it's sweet

I was looking around on here a while back and found this one of a kind old schooler for sale on here by a member "YARDSALEMAN" and it caught my eye so i bought it. I think i am the only one that has a murray super cat with the # 9 plate on it. When i got it all it needed was new pedals and the frame to be repainted, i also repainted the fenders to brighten them up a little. It has the same frame as the huffy 56 does, i guess huffy and murray used the same frames back in the day. I hope everybody likes it because it's a one of a kind old schooler that i think is a great part of old school history. Thanks for looking everybody and take care.

thanks jack, i think it looks close to the huffy 56 so i had to get it. oneday i will give it to my son and hopefully he will pass it down to his son afterwards....have a good one jack and thanks for the comment.

How did you ID this s a '76.

I just came into a Murray "Tiger cat" with what looks to be the same frame, chainguard, and fenderset. Different colors but same mold. I'm having some trouble figuring out the year. I just finished the resto.. I'll get some pics up soon!
