1978 Powerlite

Square Brake Bridge, Schwinn size seat post 13/16

This is a really interesting Powerlite. Possibly one of the first to come out under the Powerlite name. (or maybe someone restickered a peddlepower. It has a square brake bridge and a small seat post, 13/16th like an old schwinn. I included a picture side by side with what I think is a '79 or '80 powerlite. Let me know what you think about the year.

Re: 1978 Powerlite

This bike is awesome.  It makes me think of Table Tops, Marlboro in the box, AC/DC and hair parted in the middle.  Party hardy.

Re: 1978 Powerlite

Crazy good stuff!!!

One thing that I have seen over and over on the BMXmuseum is members willing to tarnish the reputation of another member by leaving nasty feedback before trying to resolve a problem like a reasonable human being.

In my 6 plus years as a staff member , this pisses me off almost as much as a scammer.
