1987 GT Performer
1987 GT Performer
powder coated ghost white. to me, when i roll this bike i feel like im driving a ferrari. its thats dope. i mean, GT's are just plain sick. they are the ferrari of bikes. strait luxury status. if we didnt have cars id roll a G-to-the-T. again, thats my opinion. there are some dope bikes on this site so im not saying mine is best. it is original though. after every stroll through the concrete playground, it gets wiped down. this bikes dopeness pulls chicks too. i get compliments from older woman and it trips me out because its a bike and im 31. but again, its a GT you have to look back at like, "what was that?" anyway, this bike goes way back. ive had it since 1987 and this is its rebirth. its been through the break dance days, the bike trick days, adidas suit and kangol hat days, fat laced shoes days, ditch school to go ride days, big silver boom box with double tape deck days, shoot... its even been to the beach in southern california. it was the baby blue and white GT before this. now, obviously its white and black. the parts are getting hard to find so i've decided that this will never be sold and this is it. its a keeper forever because you cant come across these anymore. hope you like it.

Nothing wrong with bragging it up at 31. I'm 37 and still love to look at, build and ride these old sweethearts! BTW, sweet GT! ![]()

Re: 1987 GT Performer
Awesome custom job,Gt's are still my fav of all bmx/freestyle bikes ever. I had 3 in my day in the 80's.Im 33 and got back into bikes in the last 2 months.I have 3 dynos back then and ran across a 99 dyno air for $0 so i grabbed it and also a 96 dyno nitro bike just missing wheels for 20 extra bux. Both needed alot of work. The 99 dyno air is done, the other bike is my beater. My next bike will be a 85-89 GT.
