txt'ing like it is...at 32.8 lbs...you better have some diesel legs to push that bike 20 miles...

In the 80's, I was riding the streets with Eric (Hutch), Jamie (GT), Jody (JMC), & Ronnie (Diamond Back). North Hollywood, CA to The Teen Center in Van Nuys, CA. The best LBS was The Pedal Shop, where I bought my first & only JMC frame, forks, & parts for my very first build...

Re: 2009 SE Racing Filth Flyer

Dirt Jump (er) bikes are way cool.  Perfect for the old school man/woman, that wants a newer or modern ride.  Don't get me wrong, I love all old school 20" and 24", and will ride them till the rubber falls of the wheels.  However, I really enjoy my 26" DK Xenia.  I enjoy it so much, that I just picked up a Black Market MOB frame and am building this up.  All are single speeds.

I take back my quote...I recently dove into a 2009 GT Ruckus SX (GT dirt jumper with gears) a few months back...at 32 lbs the bike actually rides really nice with gears. I can do at least 50 miles with gears and a heavy bike. I like the dirt jumper rides so much that I don't ride my regular bmx bikes at all currently. I use the geared dj bike for dirt & the single speed dj bike for urban chillin...Like the dj bkes better then the 24's, and 29'ers as it feels more like a real bmx bike rather than a cruiser bmx to me.
