how about them welded on rear pegs

This cw was found under a pile of tires way out in the sticks on a farm .
I performed a total resto on the frame, fork, bars, seat post, seat clamp, 980 freestyle brakes and chain wheel. I used the stock crank, acs 45 stem and rotor . nos parts are pad's mushroom grips, skyway tuff wheel II and comp st tires

Re: 1986 CW Califorina Flyer

Thank's for the complement.
Orange and black just do well together.

I responded to a Criag's list add about a Diamond back and got to
talking with the guy , next thing I know were walking across the field
to a shead and there it was , under the pile of tires. yikesbig_smile

You would be surprised at what people will give away if you just ask!

Holy cow, it looks like it's glowing like hot embers. I can barely even focus on it. It actually looks fake. I like it though.

Re: 1986 CW Califorina Flyer

OMG I'm blind lol Seriously that thing is blinding. I agree that black & orange go great together. But, maybe just a little too much Neon Orange on this one.

I'm just trying to get rid of a bunch of extra stuff now

Re: 1986 CW Califorina Flyer

Nice CW... but you have it listed as 4130 chromoly in the bike description.

The Flyer's were never chromoly... they were ALWAYS hi-ten steel. Only the Shakers, Freestylers, Cali BLVDs and Stunt Vessels were 100% 4130 chromoly.

Nice try, though. wink

I was only going off of the stock  decals . It say's on the downtube decal 4130 you can see it in the pic . I think your right thoe this is not a top of the line cw . JUST too RAD thoe . I will have to look back at the orignal find pics to see if i can see it on the orignal decals .
