1985 KUWAHARA BRAVO
1985 KUWAHARA BRAVO
Another Old Skool bike from Gorey, Jersey C.I. We have here a 1985 lilac/white Kuwahara Bravo with lilac Master Peregrines which originally came from NC in the USA. Note the single top tube which was replaced with a double tube in later madels. As always comments are always welcomed.

Sweet bike. I have an NOS white and green I'll be posting soon. Love the Peregrines too.
That bike came packed with some really good stuff.
Does it still have the Tuff-Neck? Looks like it.

Yeah it sure does, don't suppose you have any info or articles on it as this model seems to be missed out on websites I've visited

Re: 1985 KUWAHARA BRAVO
You could prolly get them re-popped if you could get the decals off in good shape. I have the original owners manual, but it's kinda generic...not specific to the Bravo.
Just posted mine up, should be on the board in a few days.

Re: 1985 KUWAHARA BRAVO
Might try that have seen black ones for sale on ebay but not the purple ones. The Frame could do with a powdercoat so will try to get them copied then.
Look forward to seeing yours in the museum.

Re: 1985 KUWAHARA BRAVO
some of the hard to find decals,i'll take the frame&forks to my local sign co. they can scan them on the bike and touch up the bad spots.
I need an orange chain.
It is what it is!

It's only original once, mate. I say just clean it up really well, polish the living hell out of it, and enjoy it. BTW, this version looks eerily like a LaserLite...![]()
