1986 Mongoose FS1

Original Mongoose Freestyle bike.

Bought the frame, forks and bars off a member of the museum. Powder coated at Trojan Powder Coaters Bay Shore, New York. Scored the repo decals off another member. New Tuff Wheels from colored tuffs and misc parts off the bay. Just like the bike Santa gave me for Christmas back in 1986. Some punk stole it in 1990. I eventually recovered it but it was trashed. Mom sold my old bike in a garage sale for about 10 bucks back in 1991. New to the hobby and completely hooked. Thanks to all the members who helped me out.  Finally Finished it yesterday.  What do You think?

Sweet Bro: Hope You Get The Brakes To Finish Project. I Always Wonder Why My FS-1 Has A Small Loop & All The Others Have It Larger Like Yours? (((That Sounded Nasty Huh! LOL)))

Re: 1986 Mongoose FS1

Hey all finally finished my bike yesterday.  I wish I would have been done in time for cappy's photoshoot.  I've seen some of those pics and they are sick.  Let me know what you think of the last 4 months of searching for era correct parts and constant retooling.
Thanks
