1997 2 Hip Pork

Dad's modernized 29lbs chrome-moly 2-Hip Pork (new paint 2/27/09). Plans to drop another pound soon.

* Frame: 2-Hip Pork, chrome-moly version
* Fork: Hoffman Fat Free
* Stem: FBM by Super Rat
* Headset: Solid Bikes needle bearing
* Bars: Hoffman Fat Free
* Grips: Snafu Mirra
* Seat: Coalition
* Seatpost: Coalition
* Seatpost clamp: Simple
* Cranks: Odyssey 41Thermal 175mm w/Titanium spindle
* Pedals: Hoffman magnesium sealed
* Sprocket: FBM 28t
* Chain: KMC Dropbuster
* Front wheel: Odyssey Vandero hub, Sapim spokes, Sun Rhynolight XL rim
* Rear wheel: Primo Mix cassette 10t, Sapim spokes, Sun Big City rim
* Tires: front-WTP Grippin, rear-Primo Comet
* Pegs: front- Terrible One, rear-Odyssey J-Peg Light
* Weight: 29lbs with plans to drop another pound soon. I do not want to cut up the frame other than removing the brake mounts. It is my tongue-in-cheek version of the light bikes out today...in this case using light parts with one of the heaviest frames made.

Re: 1997 2 Hip Pork

Definitely one of the best porks I've seen, but that stem looks weird on it.

The old-style Solid stems come in blue and would look much better on it...
