1994 SE Racing P.K. Ripper XL
1994 SE Racing P.K. Ripper XL
My 1st custom BMX build as a grown-up...& yep its a rider!
BITD there was a local guy who was a few years older than me named Carl Springer who would just kill it at Clay Hills & he rode a polished PK Ripper. As a kid I rode a CW but I always wanted a PK! This bike was my 1st custom build as an adult working in the bike biz. I was thrilled to call up SE Racing & actually order the F/F from Perry Kramer himself.
Here's the breakdown:
-SE Racing black PK Ripper XL frame & chrome 1 1/8" threadless Landing Gear fork
-FSA DH Pro sealed 1 1/8" threadless headset
-SE Racing red powder-coated Powerwing Bars
-Profile Racing black 1 1/8 threadless XL stem
-Solid Death grips
-Primo black brake levers hooked up to black Tektro linear-pull brakes (got 'em fr nothing, originally had Onza H. O. cantilever brakes)
-Shadow Conspiracy saddle bolted to a Brand X Ti seatpost
-KMC nickel-plated chain, ACS freewheel 14t
-Profile Racing polished DJ cranks, Ti Imperial sprocket 30t, Ti bb spindle, Profile Racing Evo bb
-FMF black ROUND Power Moto sealed bearing pedals
-Crupi red 36h. hi-flange flip-flop hubs laced w/DT black spokes 4x to Alex Supra J black chrome rims
-Drive Technologies Load 20 x 2.3 tires FATTIES!

Thermal count is rising, In perpetual writhing. The primordial ooze, And the sanity they lose. Awakened in the morning, To more air pollution warnings. Still we sleepwalk off to work, While our nervous systems jerk. Pretending not to notice, How history had forebode us. With the green house in effect, Our environment was wrecked. Now, I can only laugh, As I read our epitaph. We end our lives as moles, In the dark of DAWN PATROL
