1979 Roger DeCoster

Found this bike 1/9/09. Coming out of Jack In The Box . From a far distance saw somebody riding a bmx bike. I ran over there and it was a Roger Decoster! I told him you have a old school bmx bike. He ask me if I wanted to buy it. I ask how much? He told me $20. He was happy. Now he have money in his pocket. Probably went to Jack In The Box and bought a jumbo jack. lol Only the frame is old. Rest of the parts is new. I will putting different parts later.

Re: 1979 Roger DeCoster

Here the finish touch. I was on a low budget on this bike. Fortunate I had all the parts except tires, chain, and a seat post. I put on Skyways Tuff wheels 2. Had to dye it. The Roger Decoster frame had to sand and buff it out with a dremel tool. Put Tange Tx 500 non drilled fork. Super maxy Sugino 3 piece cranks. Sr neck and chrome handle bar came off a Blue max. Chen shen comp tires. Tuff neck style seat clamp.
