1981 Race Inc. 24"

'82 RACE INC CRUISER

Near NOS ANNO RED RACE INC.Cruiser. I did not want to build my NOS Race Inc. CRUISER, and now I don't have to. Picked up this frame right here on the museum. Bike was built once before so I had no qualms about building her up again. Bike has "MINT" ORIGINAL RED ANNO FINISH, and all original frame decals!. I just happened to have a Race Inc cruiser fork laying around with nothing to do, along with a bunch of parts to complete her.My other red anno RACE INC. (posted on this site) is 100% NOS with the box.....never had a cup in it!....and unbelievably, is just 9 serial numbers away from this one! What are the odds of picking up 2 of these....one from Michigan and one from California........25 years after they were built, and have them that close in serial #'s????? I can't even imagine the journey these 2 bikes traveled and were not cosmetically hurt after 25 + years! This is my favorite bike due to the OG factor.
Parts breakdown:
1981 RACE INC CRUISER (ORIGINAL Red ANNO)
Profile Box Cranks (3rd Gen) RE_CHROMED
NOS KKT Lightnings
NOS PETE'S Chainring
NOS MX 1000 DIA Compe brakes

NOS CYCLE PRO SEAT CLAMP
NOS CALIFORNIA LITE PADS
NOS OAKLEY F 1's
NOS SE RACING CRUISER BARS
NOS TUF NECK PRO MODEL
NOS 13/16 RACE INC POST
NOS SKYWAY PRO PADS
This bike is a true "time capsule"

BIG AL!!!  DOIN' IT RIGHT!!  Amen brotha!!  I am so pumped that you were happy with the condition of this frame, and I can see that you've spared no details here.  You the man!  I'll show the photo of the complete to my friends at the LBS, and we'll print it out to hang up.  Thanks again and enjoy!!

Cheers

Re: 1981 Race Inc. 24"

That is one fine cruiser.  I really like the race inc cruiser.  My friend had one growing up and I rode it a lot. Wish I could get my hands on one.

Ive seen this bike in person, and pictures do not do it justice. I agree with MOMO. My favorite cruiser in the Museum.
