1987 Dyno D-Tour

1987 Dyno D-Tour

Sad one here...

Everyone..., I *just* got one off...a... friend... Erf, actually, it's a true story stranger than fiction. Well, today I was sitting in my yard. Just got back from Area 51 with a new set of Redline pedals, when A friend of mine's Mom came pulling in. She didn't look as though She were in a good mood. Well, She told me that Bobby, Her Son died a lil while back. I didn't know. She said He was hit by a car on his 1987 DYNO D-Tour and killed. She asked if I wanted it. I of course was hesitant at first, but if I didn't, She was going to throw it away. Well, I got my buddy DJ and we went over to Her place to pick it up. It's bars, front GT mag, and brakes were trashed as you may have figured. It had to be cleaned, at least first. Long story short. I hosed it off and brought it home. I am gonna throw a few parts on it tonight. This is a special bike to me..., I just defaced my 1987 Mogoose Decade for it.

Thanks to: DJDane, it now has a front mag. "Thanks Dane!" smile

Re: 1987 Dyno D-Tour

Caleb, nope, just the front mag. The rear was His, and it was on it when I got it from His Mom. The front one was broken and bent up. I *really* need a front mag like it or very close to it.

Re: 1987 Dyno D-Tour

Had to change the seat post. It broke sad

Had to put on these Primo tires cause the old ones were a lil dry rotted, and the back one had a blow out. Anywho..., what ya'll think? I hope it makes Bobby happy, if he can see it. smile

Looks good Fox!  After reading the history of the bike, the sentimental value of it has to be off the charts!

Re: 1987 Dyno D-Tour

I hated to change out the tires and seat post, but I just had to. I wanted it all original for Bobby's memory. You understand though...
