1987 Haro Sport
My First Project
87 Haro Sport... Bought off of the Museum. Looking forward to fixing this baby up. Lots of things to do, going to start with the frame, and get it redone. Skyways seem true, need bleaching.. My first project, so going to start picking things up little by little. I will be excited to finish it and hit the street this spring! Thanks for looking, can't wait for you all to see it updated!
Here are some updates, I have more to add this weekend! Thanks!

Re: 1987 Haro Sport
Looks like another cool Haro project.
So are you planning on restoring your FST also or selling it to help fund this build?

Re: 1987 Haro Sport
Thanks Everyone,
I am super excited to put this together, always liked the Sport. I had some ideas to do something different with this, but my wife of all people, who thought I was completely nuts to take on this hobby, wanted me to keep it as original as possible. So, going to keep the Black/Blue... clean it up as much as I can, then decide if I even powder this.
I have changed my mind a couple dozen times about what I want to do, so i may be as surprised as anyone as to what I do with it.
Stay tuned..
jholst... not sure what I will do with the FST... I am trying to find direction at this point.

Re: 1987 Haro Sport
Now that I am done showing it off.... time to ride! Just rode it for the first time (like really ride)... man, do I suck! It has been 20 years since I have tried to do some of the old tricks, and it sure isn't easy!
Here is my reconfigured rider...
And... IMHO... when I have ever thought HARO... I have thought of a Blue Sport, and a Neon Yellow Master. These two bikes, opitomize the Haro name for me.

Awesome Cail!
Glad to hear you're riding the sport!
It'll come back to you. there's no pressure. it will just come - the more time you spend on the bike.
Good call - using those kendas instead of the tioga tires to "ride" ![]()

Haha, yeah... I have a pair of blue Odyssey Paths, but they just didn't look right... I actually just ordered a pair of Odyssey Frequency's for it now... gotta have the skin/tan/gumwall. ![]()
Man, yeah, I have ridden it around a bit, did some bunny hops, and such... but, jumpin out the gate with tailwhips, and some rolling tricks today, and my balance is all whacked!
But you are right, no hurry... I wasn't that good BITD, so I won't be that good now... but it is fun!
Thanks guys! I'll see if I can get Lindsey to take some weak a$$ riding pics for you guys to enjoy/laugh at! ![]()

Here is the latest version... v.3.2
This to me looks like the most rideable version so far. Added: Chrome kneesavers, Chrome fork, Rider Super Pro's, w/ Odyssey Path Tires, and the Haro Team Sprocket. I think it looks awesome!! Let me know what you think!
