Re: 1980 St Tropez
Never thought I'd see another. It looks like the headbadges held up the best on these bikes, mine looks just like yours. I like that you didn't change anything.
Have tons of clean classic rock vinyl to trade, and a case of 70's Star Wars figures.

Re: 1980 St Tropez
Yeah, I heard they made them strong. What is it that older bikes seem to last a long time, and you see some of the newer bikes and you just know they wont be built like these, and they will be junk in about 5 years time.. Bikes wernt built like they used to!

Re: 1980 St Tropez
I'm getting ready to throw some black Tuff I's on mine for a more authentic look. ( got inspiration from Fox's ST.) Fun bike. I'll have some parts that may help your build soon, pm me, I'm close to NJ. I like seeing the old bikes back to life.

Re: 1980 St Tropez
I love this bike!! Mine was a year or two newer, I think. I know mine had gold rims, and a black padded seat. I have a Polaroid of it, but with a sponge 12'' Superior car steering wheel on it! It wasn't on too long. I was a "special" kid. Then I pulled all the decals off and painted it brown metallic with car touch up spray paint. It looked great with the gold rims! Everyone used to ask me if they sold them brown. I had yellow Skyways on it later on. Or that may have been another bike altogether...it's all getting hazy now at 43. I'm getting worried I may have a problem....I have bought two Saint Tropez baskets in less than a week! Ken
