1986 Hutch Trick Star
1986 Hutch Trick Star
chrome frame and forks with Buff Bars
TRADED HAROSSA FOR A MASTER
This will be my rider by next summer.
I can't build this now due to the cost of high end parts. I had a trickstar when i was a kid and sold it off once i got a car. I wanted to do somthing a litle different with it. Haro Group 1 crank, black Skyways, green tires and brakes. everything is so much cash. I hope to put some other Hutch parts on as well. If you have inexpensive parts hit me up.
The frame has about 2 inches of seatpost still left in the down tube (don't have a long enough 7/8 drill)i tried to photo. The bottom plate bracket has a little curve in the sheetmetal. (could be pressed back into place). The chrome is in really good shape, a small amount of rust by the seatpost. The stickers are kinda rough but they'll do.
The forks look great, no deacls though. Threads are in good shape.
The ladder bars look good as well, I was told there Buff Bars (Both the horizontal bars are the same diameter)?
i'll most likely put it in storage until i build up the parts inventory. serial number is 0644903 no baseball. (That makes it AMERICAN MADE)
thanks for looking

Re: 1986 Hutch Trick Star
Hey i remember our chat a while back after you found out i ended up with this! Got it finally finished. Had the frame, forks and bars rechromed (although the bars are on another TS), and managed to get the post out and fix the curve in the bottom plate. Check it out in my bikes ![]()
