Re: 1970's Harry Leary Monoshock

You do realize that you barely outbid me on that one don't you??? That is an AWESOME bike. Now all you need is the front Motomag I to match the rear. Can't wait to see it built up.

Re: 1970's Harry Leary Monoshock

frank, PERRY! Where teh hell did you find Preston Petty grips!?  I know you got the fender in the auction, but the grips too?  Dude, either you're gonna hafta get to Florida or I'm gonna have to get to SoCal, 'cause I gotta ride this bitch.  Is that the original paint?  I like the look of the CBR cranks on there, but if you're having clearance issues, maybe you should get ahold of HL and see what he ran on it.

i got the preston petty grips on this weekends score 70's bars with a win stem and preston petty grips for 2.00 LOL im in northern california and come on down take it for a spin donnie yes original paint and HL had a sugino 400 bb already in it they seem to be slightly larger than aluminum cranks so the square bores were pretty hash in the cook bros cranks so with little filing and such the fit snug as a bug in a rug i dont think i can get them off there is no threads left for a puller so im stuck unless i take a big hammer to em LOL
