1979 Mongoose Motomag

Those of you who knew me in the late 70's early 80's would know I was massively into my BMX's.
Upon finding my original motomag in the shed earlier this year. The one my dad bought me for my 10th Birthday, I decided to bring her back to life. in the 80's, she was resprayed in a deep red colour so I had her stripped & powder coated back to her original colour as matched with the paint inside the bottom bracket, which the 80's respray hadn't reached.
I hope you'll agree, she scrubs up rather well.
All original parts salvaged from my parents garage & reused. Stamped headset, Ashtabula crank, gooseneck, mags, seat, handlebars, grips, pads, Prebent shimano lever & front caliper.......the lot!!
Looks as good now as when she left the bikeshop all those years ago!
I also have the original owners manual to go with it.
This will come to the grave with me.

Re: 1979 Mongoose Motomag

I think I'm gonna build up a yellow one(maybe for me), just can't decide which kid to use as the excuse.
Except for me they all have 2 gooses to ride as it is.

Anyways, cool goose above!

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks wink
I'm also johnng23604 at "Retro-goose", "VintageBMX" & "RADbmx"
