Dragonfly Double Dynamite - Custom Build
The following info was received directly from Matthias @ Dragonfly via emails:
"we made, as far as i remember a total of 300 of those frames. we made 200 in cp, and 50 in mat cp ( your finish) and 50 in black cp , with clearcoat powder over, for protection... the frame is 100 % crmo, cold forged dropouts, and double butted/heat treated downtube ( 11 years ago!!)"
I've built this up using a selection of bits I have had lying around, so it's a bit of a mixture, since it was only available back then as a frame and fork set. The stickers are custom made (vinyl cut) and are based on the dragonfly ad, as shown in "commander's" museum listing.
The forks are 1" standard threaded headset, but have a plain unthreaded section to take a 1" clamp-on stem. (I am using a 1 1/8" clamp-on with adaptors)

Re: 1996 Dragonfly Double Dynamite
Great looking ride. I love the seat post clamp, on the coaster brake arm... i did the same thing back in the day, & even added one on a retro I built a while ago. It's little details like that one which really separate them from average. A NEW FAVE!!!!
BMX/Freestyle... my fountain of youth.
