  Not sure of year of mfg. but definitely early 80's.  Serial # 2662.  18.5" TT.  If any of you boys want to comment on what year it was made, please do smile  The chrome on this frame is in incredible conditional.  Absolutely beautiful!  No issues w/ the frame at all.  The only pieces missing is the chain tensioners (easy find) and the head tube decal.  I will be including a new head tube decal w/ the sale.  You'd be very hard pressed to find another frame w/ original chrome this nice!

The axle adjusters were introduced I think as early as 1980, mid-year if I recall. Serials restarted with the version changes, so, SN at 2662, that would put this way, way late in CBR time. I'd guess 83 or 84.

There were I believe 3 serial resets. The first version was a different brake bridge. The SN's reset when the crush proof brake bridge came out, and then, again, when the axle adjusters were out.
