I have a set of BRAND NEW never used NOS chrome plated Alex 48's with Chrome Suzue sealed bearing hubs.
The Spokes are stainless steel with chrome nipples. Axles are 14mm chromo with clearance for 3/8 forks and frames.
Chrome is PERFECT!! 100%
These are great for show wheels and a less expensive alternative to similar wheels that cost as much as three time these.
Very hard to find new Chrome part these days and re chroming is extremely expensive.

W ho biult the wheels? Spokes should not be sticking out of the nipples. What model alex hoops are these?
The Rims are "E" series.
As far as the spokes go... There is about 2-3mm sticking out of the nipped. Not a big deal, I have run accross pleanty of wheels like this, or you could easily use some nose cutters and trim them up. The are stunning.
