I pulled this off a virtually untouched 25 year old survivor. Initially, I assumed it was a worthless piece of pipe, but then I realized it was originally anodized. So I thought maybe it was Race Inc and did this "Name it" research:

The year makes sense for the bike I pulled it off of. So I'm going to say odds are it is a '79 Team Goose post, but I don't know for sure. I realize it's in bad shape. If it doesn't sell, I will eventually put it in one of my ano runs and make it like new (and then ask a lot more for it). Feel free to ask questions, and thanks for looking.

i doubt an anno run would make it look new. and i doubt anyone will ever know exactly who made it. but i applaude your efforts on trying to sell it

Though I do understand your points. It's definitely old and if it were the same price as a newly made one, it would be just as cool, if not better to have an old one.
if youre not in a rush you can always leave it in greased lightning for a day or 2 and it will de anodize it
