Are these chrom or trimoly?? Whats under the paint?? Thanks!
ridgeline: Not sure about the steel. The ones listed in the museum are classified as 4130 chromoly. The white paint is original.

As previously stated, I am not 100% sure about the steel.
Here is bike from the previous owner. You can tell by the head tube marks.
And it's classified as 4130.

I only bought the frame and fork and had intentions to rebuild it.
I don't have any other parts of the bike.
