ORIGINALLY ASKING $750
Up for sale is my super-clean, 1997 MOSH Pro XL – Designed by Linn Kastan. If you don’t know who he is, you should definitely look him up!!
A true survivor as nothing has been retouched or reworked and aside from a few very minor nicks to the finish and to the stickers, this bike is like new. I'm the original owner and absolutely NOTHING has been changed on this bike since the day I brought it home from the bike store, Wheels in Motion, on November 3, 1997.
I raced this bike at Champions BMX in Mabank, TX. A small Texas town and for a thirty-something looking to race, there just wasn’t much competition my age. I usually lined up against kids, blasted around the track until the last jump, stopped on top of it and cheered for them as they passed me to take home the trophies. This bike did see action when some of the high school kids showed up, but not as much as I was hoping for when I purchased it. As a result, I rode it for about six months and it’s been leaning against a wall ever since.
I took high-res photos of this bike to let them speak of its quality & condition. The MOSH logo in all the photo groupings is actually a close up of the sticker on the down tube and the Pro XL is from the top tube (under the pad). There is no rust, the bike was ALWAYS kept indoors – there might be a little dirt here and there, but nothing a thorough cleaning won’t take care of.
The welds on this frame are thick and beautiful and just look how clean the rear dropouts are! The frame is a true work of art and there is no way you'll be disappointed with this bike. It's ready to race!!!
Although this is only my second BMXMuseum sale, I love bikes and will ship this one with great care and wrapping.
If you're wondering why I'm selling this one - it's only because I grew up freestyling and want to get back into that with some Old School 1980s greatness. I know what I want, so please don't offer me trades at this time.
This bike is currently NOT listed in the museum as I wanted the new owner to be able to submit it. I'll gladly provide you the photos for that purpose if you like.
