I use these or the other 2 sizes I sell on just about every bike I build. I have sold several sets to members here for use on all types of rims and I have never had any problems with them.

These are the largest of the 3 brake pad sizes that I have. I would say these are sort of medium in terms of softness. The other two sizes I have are harder. You can see a comparison of the sizes in the picture.
