Very nice 'stars-n-stripes' rear Dia-Compe MX100 with Star MX style brake lever. I do not believe that Dia-Compe sold these in multi-colored versions (as this one is), but I recall reading that BITD it would have been a common thing for kids to exchange parts with their buddies to create unique looking brakes, such as these. If someone has anything to add on this front please do so.

The brake appears complete, and the brake pads are in excellent condition (may or may not be original). I have installed a new Dia-Compe brake cable adjustment barrel bolt w/mount (pictured in sunny pics)
