I use these when I can't find an exact match for a front -and they look good paired with a Diamondback Slasher, Mosh, Formula, Schwinn XS, Powerlite, or any number of very similar looking hubs in raw silver color

These look to be, in fact, identical to the Schwinn XS and the Powerlite hubs from the midschool product -these were sold as aftermarket hubs and were nicer than the factory hubs on wheelsets on many of those bikes.  Probably made by Formula -the hub manufacturer that now does mostly fixie single speed stuff.
