Incredible Survivor Limited production not sure of the year but I believe its 1995-97. Troy Lee Designs American made Cruiser very few miles. Purchased from a Schwinn dealer been in a storage most of its life. Primo 180mm cranks, araya special edition chrome w/ Six Shooter Schwinn HUBS near mint. Hoffman Jumping bars, SDG Belair leather saddle no tears. Frame is almost flawless minus scratches in pic color is a Burgandy red metalic.

I Love the bass-boat painted Schwinns
Nices wheels and tires too!
That is one hell of a USA-made bike that you don't see very often. GLWS
Probably more like 1999. But super sweet. Those sealed hubs are hard to come by.
I think that's what schwinn called the home grown series. I don't think troy lee had anything to do with it. There's a NOS one hanging on the wall at my LBS. I'll try to get by there and see what he says. I don't beleive it has any troy lee decals on it.
I'm not 100% on that. I'm just going off my memory. I do know that they were very limited addition. The one at the LBS has all SX parts on it.

One example that is comparable.
Not sure on year or TLD decals homegrown if I recall was a mountain bike that was also american made. Only found one in the museum any factual info is welcomed please
Yea, "Homegrown" refers to a series of MTBs that ran from the mid- to late-90s. I believe all the mids were USA-made, and that some of the nicer lates were (they had like 5 or 6 models). They replaced the top-of-the-line Waterford-built Paramounts that ended their run in '91 when production moved over to Japan and Tange Prestige chromoly was used (I have one of these). Schwinn did recently put the Homegrown name back on some of their nicer MTBs. Anyway, I'll say again that your cruiser is nice, and GLWS.
I own a polished 97 Pro mod 24. It's one of the most comfortable and stiffest 24" race frames I've ever ridden. From what I found in research on these, they were made by Scott"s welding in Colorado. One of best MTB frame builders in the country. Created and designed the first Yeti frames amongst others. Back in the 90's just the frame sets alone were $600.
one of the nicest cruisers ever sold.
wish the economy was better. it would be mine.
nice bike.
a guy who owns the old bike shop here has a 20 " version of this NEVER built mint cond.
Ive got the same Frame in black satin, mint condition...other poster was right, one of the stiffest best handling racing frames ive ever rode
I just picked up a 24 schwinn from a friend of a friend who has/had a nice mosh 24 and schwinn mod 24 for 325 for the set.I could not believe it either and he told me he was turning 50 in November and wanted a down payment on a motorcycle and didnt want to ride BMX anymore.Goin to pick up both here in a few today and will post pics in next day or so!!!!So excited I cant wait! Thanks for al the cool info on this bike !Makes it even more exciting to go pick i up!!
Right on Skid196940 great bike cant believe no one has bought this one or even tried to make a offer.
No doubt Black saturday!!I got it home and made a few adjustments here and there and Im in love it.Only prob on the schwinn is its not a mod its a pro stock 3.It looks ust like this one but in a olive green and I dont know what yr. it is.I just know it cam with some nice chrome Profiles super cross bars and some nice wheels.Im not complaining due to the deal I got and Im very thankful.I am just glad I could get it.Any Idea what yea the pro stock was made??Ill post a pick and someone can prob help me better with some pics.Have a good one dude!!
Skid196940, I have a buddy at the LBS that has had his share and would know. This bikes been up long enough without selling its morphed in to the Schwinn Homegrown Series/Pro Stock/Pro1 Modified thread which is fine with me; post it here with Serial and lets figure it out. I'll post my serial for reference. I think I'll up my price so it doesn't sell I'm getting more attached. Happy for you Bro.
Cheers
I have a 1999 olive green pro stock 24" frame its NOS and im buliding now for the cruiser build off on vintage bmx its a cool looking bike and so is yours good luck with yours selling it should have sold at that price
Awesome bike! If I had the cash I'd buy it to go with my Pro Mod 20"! This isn't a "Homegrown", those were the high end mountain bikes. Pro Stocks were the chinese version of these, they usually have decals that say "Made on Earth", both of my 20" Pro Stocks do. Troy Lee Designs made custom decals sets for the Schwinn line, cruisers only I think. I have 2 NOS Army theme cruiser decal sets for when I get a green one like skid196940....
I have several of these bikes in 20", but no cruiser yet.....really want to get this baby. Beautiful bike, GLWS
Awesome bass boat red pro mod here... they were 1999 frames... very rare color... I have one sitting up in my attic that has never even had a fork slid in the head tube... great part of schwinn history right here with the frame and seald xs 6 shooter hubs
