1984 Torker Micro Mini
Limited amount made due to Torker's bankruptcy
The Torklite complete bike came out late 1983 and being a complete bike at 16lbs for $399 was insane! The Micro Mini frame has the famous Torker twin top tubes, very low profile, European bottom bracket, and integral seat post clamp. The frame comes in at 2lbs 12oz and the fork at 1lbs 7oz.
With the limited production of the Torklite these are not too common especially with original chrome and decals.
1984 Steve Johnson decided to go all out on a new racing team, freestyle frame/forks/bars, and the Micro Mini which became the Torklite. With the production of the models beginning the Johnson family hit a financial snag which ultimately caused Torker to go bankrupt November of 1984.
Instead of building the Torklite exactly thought I would tweak it to the components that my child would have run BITD.
