1977 Torker MX
My childhood bike.
Iām finally finished with my Torker! I got this in ā80 from Kar City Big Wheels in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Nothing has been refinished. It originally had a Mesinger seat with cheapo clamp and post. It also had Tange 1200s initially.
Around ā82 or so, I switched from the Motomags to some Araya wheels, along with the seat and forks pictured.
Aside from new grips (with the same rubber bar end mod I did back then), stickers, tires, and seating, all of the parts are the ones I bought with it, give or take a couple of years.
The number plate is a true, old ABA general issue, but I wanted a really 70ās looking jobby, so I made the number and stickers.
Big props to Tim the Frame Doctor for removing the longest seatpost ever made! He said it was almost down to the BB shell!
