1981 Torker 26
(SOLD)
Bought this from a guy who picked it up at the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift store. PO turned it into a 6-speed mountain bike. Billy Griggs repaired the right dropout, which was MIG welded for some unknown reason. Chrome was worn pretty badly in a bunch of spots, so it's at Bush Plating right now. Dave Bush used to be part owner in Bassett and did all the GTs and GT-built bikes and parts from day-one through about 1992. He also did Powerlites, some Torker 20s, VDCs, GHPs. . .He's still at it. Great guy. SN is OT 0049 C. This is my first 26" and I look forward to trying out soon.
