BMXmuseum.com Bikes / Thruster / 1980 Thruster "Timmy Judge Replica"

This bike was purchsed in 1982 used, from a bike store in Livonia MI, Town & Country bikes. It was raced at Famous BMX, Bogey East BMX, Waterford Oaks BMX track, and some others. In Royal Oak MI, there was a park with a huge jump called wagner park. Many huge airs there, and elsewhere, this bike has been ridden a ton and still looks pretty good. The forks are Thruster, repainted BITD to get rid of all the chips. Never knew all these years later, it would have been nice to kept the decals on. Also, it came with Thruster bars, which were replaced by "the" bars. GT of course. It has shimano dx pedals, Sugino Super mighty cranks, bullseye bottom brackets, amd shimano low flange hubs. Also, the seat and seatpost were replaced after a crash in 1985-86 ish. I bought it from my older cousin in 1985 and have had it in my posession ever since.The pic. of the bike store is recent, and thats where it was bought in '82. There's its history...
