1980 Thruster Tri-Power
Full on dump score sitting between the scrap metal and the brush pile.
This is one bike that I had no idea I would ever own. Growing up on the east coast I had seen plenty, and know people that rode for Thruster but with so many bikes to lust after there was no way to think that I would find one cheap enough to add it to the fleet. On a Saturday morning all that changed when I went to do my weekly dump chore and my eye caught red anno, not the usual dump fare. Walking in the direction of the annodized bait my heart jumped and that moment could best be described as first kiss, first orgasam and first wheelie all rolled into one. Round brake arch, square Speed Unlimited head tube decal with the vertical Speed and the smaller horizontal Unlimited. Forks are in great shape and the chrome in the frameset pics is only wiped with a rag, no polish. Finally some completed pics, not a dream build but at least it's rolling.

Nos streetbeat stamped 11-85 (would have been sold as a 86 model) still in box with some extra parts for good measure.
