1983 Tahoe Racing 24"
Tahoe was short lived here in Minnesota and here is a rare cruiser frame and fork serial #25
1983 Tahoe was expanding into the hot 24" Cruiser class with a similar front end, non-loop rear, and Torker like forks made by Coast Wheels, CW. The handling of this bike is great, strong, and took the abuse dished out by the team. The Team's Blue, Green, and White color combination was unique and trying to get that same feel with the cruiser.
A year later Jack decided to head to Phoenix and sold the company to the Taylor's from Indiana. They continued to make the Tahoe's but included a mini and newly designed 24" cruiser frame. These are distinguished by a hole in the rear dropouts vs. the solid Minnesota ones.
Not too many of these guys around and glad to be able to share some Minnesota BMX with everyone!
Relive the Tahoe years with a Tahoe T-shirt as seen below by my wife and I! Just contact me your size and will ship it out $15 + shipping.
