2012 Standard 125RC
New race bike for 2012
I started racing cruiser at the end of 2011.There just weren't any guys my age to race against on 20".I rode alot of cruisers but really wasn't comfortable on them until I rode a Standard.....I bought one used which I liked so much I decide to buy my first new frame in over 25 years!
I ordered my frame with some custom bits to show some "Standard pride".It has an engraved headtube and and "S-logo" seat stay brace.
I've built this frame multple times with different accent colors.I finally settled on classic black and polished parts to go with the translucent gold frame.
As pictured it weighs just over 21 lbs.....Impressive for an all chromoly cruiser.
