2005 Standard 250S

Simple and street

I picked this frame up off of Ebay back in November of 2007, in the original tan (khaki?) color. I wanted a spring project that fulfilled a couple requirements: 1) Built using parts taken from my 250L that I've upgraded, or purchased inexpensively thus - on the cheap. 2) Simple - rear brake, no pegs, something to just throw around, and built for speed. I repainted the frame (spraypaint) after sanding down the original finish. Used primer, then wet-sanded, and finished with a matte-finish, and matte-clear, for a satin finish. All-in-all, I dig the way it came out. As for parts, Here's a rundown: Frame: Standard 250S (Euro BB) Fork: Eastern UltraLights Bars: Hoffman Fat Free Grips: Hoffman Stem: Hoffman Uber Stem Headset: FSA Pig Pro DH Wheels: Alienation 36H. Black Sheep 14mm with Haro hub and 10T cassette - rear. PBR 3/8″ with Haro Hub - front. Tires: 2.0 Haro Multisurface 4s. Seat, Post, Clamp: Snafu seat and post, Kink clamp Brakes: Dia-Tech Hombre, Odyssey Trigger, Cranks: Primo Hollowbites Sprocket: Simple Copenhagen 28T Chain: KMC with halflink Pedals: S&M one o one
