Staats frames started in 1995 with the mere intention of building stronger, lighter frames.  The very first Staats frame ever built was a mini cruiser and even after six years of abuse, it was still winning Nationals!  Staats frames are designed to be maneuverable, lightweight and durable.  Staats frames were an instant success and Staats was approached by the Answer Racing Team to start building frames for riders such as Bubba Harris and Mike Day. Soon everyone on the Answer team was on a Staats frame and the rest, as they say, is history.  STAATS BICYCLES was born!

Our frames currently use several exotic steel alloys such as Aermet OX Platinum heat treated 4130 chromoly, 7005 Aluminum and other double and triple butted tubing. Each chromoly frame is hand built, belt-mitered and tig-welded.  We take great pride in the quality, strength and ride characteristics of our lightweight frames. With over 40 different models of frames and with over 14 years working with various materials, we are THE FRAME EXPERTS.
