1985 Skyway Streetbeat
Cheapest bike ever
Found the bike in it's original shape (pretty rough) in a backyard in Brentwood (pseudo hood) Long Island. Found the kid who claimed the bike as his own and offered to buy it. He wanted 5 bucks so I gladly provided him 5 bucks and quickly packed it in my car. I didn't really know if it was that kids bike or not. I didn't really care either as it was rusting away in a backyard and it needed a new loving home. The frame, fork, sprocket, stem and tuffs were the only thing salvagable off the bike. Everything else is nos. Frame & fork were powdercoated and the decals came from japan. This was my first attempt at a restoration and I completed it about 6 years ago. I'll take it out every so ofter and wear neon sun glasses, velocity high tops and a flipped brim hat. Total chick magnet.

Saved from the scrap heap. I love heavy garbage nights.
