1984 Skyway T/A
My actual original race bike frameset from 1984!
This build started off with my original "survivor" chrome Skyway T/A frame and fork set. (Yes... it's the original chrome!) I used a set of our re-release model blue sealed bearing Tuff Wheels with Cheng Shin Comp III tires. Skyway Tuff pedals, Tuff Neck spider and chainring, with 1-piece Takagi cr-mo cranks, as this is what most of us actually raced with at that time! Dia Comp MX1000 brake, cable, and 2 finger levers. Other parts include a Tioga heaset, CW Pro handlebars, laid back post, ACS clamp, 1986 "New York" State Plate by Zeronine, A'me grips and a Aero saddle. This build is pretty much a replica now of one of my first T/A's that I used to race in Pleasant Valley NY in the 80's.
