1981 SE Racing P.K. Ripper - BMXmuseum.com

In 1981 I had a PK Ripper almost exactly like this one stolen during the summer.  Not long ago I found a polaroid picture of my bike that was stolen and decided to recreate it.  The bike shown here is an EXACT recreation of that bike, down to the NOS decals (Excaliber and Shimano on the top and down tubes).  BIKE COMPONENTS: A 1980-1981 SE PK Ripper looptail frame with Cycle Pro forks.  1981 red anodized (redone) Dura Ace cranks, a NOS bullseye sealed bottom bracket & spindle, NOS Kingsbury pedals, Dia-Compe MX 890 Brake caliper and brake lever, Scott Mathauser brake pads, Araya 7C with NOS Shimano low flange cassette hubs, Comp II skinwall tires, Race Inc. alloy seat post, NOS Excaliber seat clamp, NOS KMX saddle, NOS red anodized handlebars with an MCS stem and AME grips, and finally NOS red Rad Pads.  I am stoked to have my bike back after 30+ years! The picture on the right is the  original polaroid of my actual bike from 1981!  You can hardly tell the difference!  Thanks for looking!
