1998 SE Racing OM Flyer Enduro 24"
The angel that appeared after my first OM was stolen
The "Enduro" OM Flyers are cruisers that have spacing for a multi-speed rear wheel and have a derailleur-hanger and cable stops & guides. They made them back in the '80's and they reappeared when SE Racing was resurrected in the '90's. I was heartbroken when my original OM was stolen, so when this one appeared I jumped on it. It was set up as a multi-speed street bike with 8 speeds and skinny road tires, but that had to go. I first set it up in the style of a classic bmx cruiser, but I started riding it on mtb trails and decided to switch the landing Gear out for a squishy fork. BMX on the trail is a blast! The current build is: 1998 OM Flyer Enduro frame, Rock Shox Recon Race fork, Profile HIP stem, Chris King headset, Paul hubs (Fhub & Word) on Sun Rhino-lite rims, Paul Moto-lite v-brakes and Love levers, Profile bmx cranks - 175mm, Profile Evolution bottom bracket, Profile Imperial cog - 33t, Shimano bmx freewheel – 16t, & Maxxis Holy Roller tires.
