1980 S&S Newport 26 - BMXmuseum.com

Here is a restored S&S racing cruiser from 1979-80.  I got it as a f/f on Craig's list and discovered a crack in the seat pinch slot when I got it home.  After about an hour of wanting to slap the guy who sold it to me, I took it to a frame builder friend of mine an had it repaired.  The lame powder job was then sanded smooth and fresh DuPont base/clear paint was sprayed on it, followed by some of Ultrahive's nice repop decals.  The parts include:
Cook Bro.'s cranks and YST sealed BB
NOS Tange 125 headset
Tuf Neck bar and stem
NOS DC MX 1000 brakes with Campy housing clamps
NOS Conpy suade seat
NOS black fluted seatpost
Re-polished Ukia shiny side rims on Suntour seal hubs with new decals
Kenda K-Rad tires
NOS KKT Lightning pedals

I can't beleive how nice this came out!  It seriously looks new no matter where you look.
